Jera, 17, lives in Berlin and would rather be anywhere else than the far north of Lapland. Forced to spend the holidays with his Sámi grandparents, he returns to a place he hasn’t visited since his mother’s death four years earlier. In the vast winter landscape, old wounds and unspoken tensions surface. When events take an unexpected turn deep in the wilderness, Jera is confronted with a way of seeing life, loss, and belonging that challenges everything he believes.
