We have just completed the @JETS Initiative Program, which we were selected to participate in on 20–21 February 2024 as a live event during this year’s EFM – European Film Market. The program was organized by WEP Films.

As part of JETS, we pitched our feature film IN TRANSKEI, written and directed by Derya Durmaz, Producers  Nici Brueckner / World Color Studio 22 (Germany), Thandeka Nodada / The Final Chapter Production (South Africa), and Kalvo Marsel / Mars Productions (Turkey).

JETS is a collaborative initiative that brings together professionals from the film and television industry, public film funding bodies, and private investors, with the aim of supporting international co-production opportunities for selected emerging projects.

We had the opportunity to engage with representatives from National Film and Video Foundation South Africa, Filmförderungsanstalt, Nordmedia – Film – und Mediengesellschaft, Hessen Film & Medien, Gauteng Film Commission, KwaZulu-Natal Film Commission, Telefilm Canada, Fís Éireann / Screen Ireland, Canadian Media Producers Association (CMPA), Ludwig Kameraverleih GmbH, and the Freie Hansestadt Bremen.

We thank everyone involved for the opportunity to pitch and for the exchange with international industry professionals.
