Teboho ist erst kürzlich nach Berlin gezogen, um mit seiner Frau Sarah zusammenzuleben. Schon bald nach seiner Ankunft wird er mit Rassismus und den typischen deutschen Stereotypen über Schwarze Menschen konfrontiert. Das Paar findet bald Freunde, die ähnliche Schwierigkeiten durchmachen.

Set in Berlin, the supposedly open-minded and multicultural capital of Germany, the movie explores the everyday lives of three couples: Teboho & Sarah, Mothusi & Anna, and Bokang & Joyce. Each of those couples lives very differently from the others. Yet they are connected through friendship, and they all have one thing in common: their relationships are always under suspicion, and their love is constantly questioned.
